Armidale Banking
Armidale has five Banks, a
Building Society and a Credit Union, all either in the CBD Mall
or within easy access of the Mall. Most banks are likely to
offer personal and business banking, lending, wealth management
services, merchant facilities and provide access to credit
cards, telephone banking and internet banking. New England
Credit Union also has a presence on campus at UNE (university of
New England).
To some extent the
services provided by banks to small businesses is similar
from bank to bank, however,
RaboBank, that has a presence in Armidale, specialises in
banking for agriculture and food related businesses. Most
banks also provide
wealth management services - as do a number of
Armidale accountants.
