Some
activities for your health and enjoyment
As we
continue to enjoy the hot summer weather, it is very enticing to
get out in the open air with the family and get some exercise.
There are a number of fantastic activities to support this:
Amateur
Athletics have restarted their summer season.
Little Athletics will begin again on 9 February 2006. If
you are interested in attending, just go along and enjoy.

fun and you get to see lots of our fabulous countryside.

Basketball
Why not try basketball this term. Only about
8 weeks of competition to see whether you like the
sport. The advantages of basketball are that the
games only go for 40 minutes, they can't be washed out
and it is fantastic for your fitness. For more
information check
out
the
basketball
site. If you have a child in Years 3 to 8,
they may be interested in a Basketball Clinic being held
next week (23 to 25 January) at the TAS Stadium.
For more information visit the
basketball
website.
Bushwalking
How about seeing some of the fantastic
region that Armidale
has. Try a little rock hopping on the Gwydir
River, take a small boat or just enjoy the surrounds.
A beautiful and peaceful place for a picnic and swim.
