Opened in
2004, this is a place of hospitality where people of all
faith traditions can find support and encouragement as
they journey in life. It is for people who are seeking a
deeper relationship with God, and who are hungering for
a quiet place where they have the time to listen to the
gentle voice of God calling them into a deeper intimacy
with God. It is an oasis of peace in a noisy, busy
world. |
The midst of our busy lives we all
need a place where we are welcomed, supported, and encouraged to
nourish our inner wells as we continue on our journey in life.
It is a place for people who are hungering, thirsting and
longing to deepen their relationship with God. It is a quiet
place where people of all faith traditions are able to discover
the richness of their inner life, and listen to God within who
is deeply involved in our lives. It is place where we come to
know and believe that we are totally loved and accepted by God.
The material we use for our
Programmes is simple, down-to-earth, and uncomplicated. It
provides an opportunity to re-direct our lives in the midst of a
confusing and turbulent world. It provides that restfulness that
we all are seeking.
Spiritual Direction or Guidance in
Prayer is always available for those who find themselves asking
the question: ‘Where am I in my relationship with God?’ Is there
something more in my life that I am seeking?’ ’Am I noticing a
restlessness in myself?’ This is an opportunity to explore our
life with God and be supported, encouraged by another Christian
person who is walking on the same journey in life. Arrangements
can be made by phoning the House of Spirituality.
